Grounded in research and real classrooms, Collective Learning publishes clear, practical strategies that can be applied right away, along with tools, guides, and resources that make complex topics easier to navigate. The mission is to provide evidence-based insights, with a vision of building a more engaging, inclusive, and equitable future for learning

The goal is to make K-12 education topics easier to explore, with resources and tips that can be applied right away in classrooms and educational communities.

Veronica Allende, Ed.D.

  • Dr. Allende is an advocate for inclusive, student-centered learning and effective leadership in education. With experience as both an educator and administrator, her mission is to foster environments that support diverse learners, strengthen faculty development, and ensure equity through compliance and accountability.

  • Dr. Allende has served as a K-12 classroom teacher, Director of Student Services, compliance officer, school-based administrator, and state-level education specialist. Her responsibilities have included:

    • Teaching across all K-12 grade levels and subject areas, adapting instruction to diverse learners

    • Overseeing and monitoring compliance for Titles I, III, IV, and Section 504

    • Coordinating audits and serving as Title IX Coordinator and McKinney-Vento liaison

    • Supervising teachers, leading teams, and providing professional development for faculty and staff

    • Educating adult learners and supporting the implementation of district- and state-wide policies

    • Contributing to assessment and accountability initiatives as a specialist and assistant project manager with FLDOE

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr. Allende integrates cross-cultural awareness into her leadership and teaching approach. Her work reflects a global perspective, informed by travel and participation in international education programs:

    • Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Program

    • Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad (Mexico)

    • Transatlantic Outreach Program (Germany)

  • Dr. Allende is guided by a commitment to integrity, collaboration, and purposeful leadership. She values building strong relationships, fostering clear communication, and maintaining consistency in her work. With a thoughtful and organized approach, she balances a data-informed perspective with creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Her strength lies in bringing people together, managing projects with care, and ensuring that initiatives are carried out with clarity and impact.
